Tellico Beach Drive In

"I must stop on your way to the Bald River falls! Food is excellent and prices are even better.. covered picnic areas. No bathroom so make sure you go to the bathroom before you get there..."

"A really neat little drive in we found on the way to Bald River Falls. It's pretty busy but they work through orders pretty quickly. It's a real drive in menu. Everything is priced very fairly for what you get. Burgers, chili dogs, fries, onion rings, and shakes and ice cream. It has a fairly extensive menu of on the go type food. The burger was really good and cooked well. The onion rings were big and crispy. Really good crinkle cut fries. My kids had chicken nuggets and a grilled cheese. Everything was fairly good and served accurately. It's a beutiful spot on the river with covered picnic tables. The atmosphere is really amazing. There is no washrooms and cash or check only. If your going to Cherokee National Forest this is your only place for lunch. I'd definitely recommend a stop before or after a hike."

"Must experience first hand. Food was good, just not blow your socks off amazing. However, the experience of taking a break from riding through the mountains, taking in a few waterfalls, and then enjoying a good meal river side... there is no better place."

Pretty typical burger and fries place but they have baskets with all kinds of things if you're in the mood for something different. Also serve ice cream by the scoop, banana splits, hot fudge cake sundaes and all that good stuff."

"On the recommendation of a local (we live about an hour away) we stopped here for lunch. Bacon cheeseburgers, chili dog,onion rings and an Oreo milkshake. It's a walkup window on the roadside, and we arrived in the middle of the lunch rush. The folks here are friendly, fast and serve up delicious fare! Eat in your car if you want to, but I recommend grabbing a spot at a picnic table overlooking the Tellico River."
